Alabama Barker showed off her curves after admitting she used weight-loss medication because people were bullying her for being “fat” and “ugly.”
On Monday, 18-year-old aspiring rapper Alabama Barker shared photos on Instagram showing off her new look. She wore a black dress with big cutouts, a deep neckline, and black heels, along with diamond jewelry and a silver purse at a pool party with friends and security.
She captioned the post, “She can’t even compare to me, she ain’t even stuntin me 🖤💋.”
The next day, she posted more photos in a black lace set with a matching bra and panties.
Earlier this month, Barker, daughter of Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler, revealed she started using weight-loss medication after receiving online criticism about her appearance.

In a TikTok video, Alabama Barker talked about feeling ugly in photos and getting hurtful comments about her appearance. She said, “I see what you guys are seeing in the photos, but when you meet me in person, I think I look different.”
She also mentioned that she’s using weight-loss medication because she’s frustrated with how she looks and how she appears in pictures. She didn’t specify which medication she’s using.
Last month, Shanna Moakler, who was married to Travis Barker from 2004 to 2008, shared that she started taking the weight-loss drug Mounjaro after her parents died last year. She said she was in a very dark place, stopped dieting and exercising, and ate poorly because she was devastated and missed her parents.

In July, a fan shared a TikTok video where 18-year-old Alabama Barker talked about using a weight-loss drug. She said, “I’m using weight-loss medication because I’m tired of being fat and looking terrible in photos.”
Alabama explained that she feels ugly in pictures and gets negative comments about her looks. She added, “I see what you’re seeing in the photos, but in person, I think I look different.”
She didn’t mention which weight-loss medication she’s using, but popular drugs for weight loss include Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, and Zepbound. These medications, like Semaglutide and Tirzepatide, help with weight loss by regulating blood sugar.
However, nutritionist Rania Batayneh, MPH, is concerned about teenagers using these drugs. She said, “Alabama is 18 and not clinically overweight, so she wouldn’t normally get a prescription for weight loss medication.”
Batayneh warned that these drugs could cause teenagers to eat too few calories, which isn’t healthy. She also pointed out that using weight-loss medications at a young age could lead to long-term problems with weight maintenance, overall health, and mental well-being.
