Kendarnath Temple opened on the day of Akshaya Tritiya. And with it’s reopening Char Dham Yatra starts today. On the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, Friday. Meanwhile, the doors of Yamunotri and Gangotri Dham will be opened later in the day, the portals of Badrinath shrine will open to the public on May 12.
Kedarnath temple:
Kedarnath is one of the most sacred place dedicated to Lord Shiva and the doors of this holy shrines have been opened today, on May 10, 2024 at 07:00 AM in the morning and all the priest offered a special puja before opening the holy Kedarnath temple. Ceremony happened amid chanting Har Har Mahadev.
This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, is the eleventh out of twelve Jyotirlingas of India. The ceremony included special pujas, chanting, and flower petal decorations. Limited visitors are permitted per guidelines. The temple was decorated by 40 quintals of flower petals. Flying helicopters showered flower petals on the temple and devotees, when the doors opened.
