The Lamborghini Urus SE is the SUV’s most powerful version, boasting 800 horsepower and 950 Newton-meters of torque.
Just four months after its global debut in April, the Lamborghini Urus SE will launch in India on August 9 in New Delhi. This SUV is the second model from the Italian manufacturer to feature hybrid power. Additionally, it comes with updated interior and exterior styling.
Design and Features of the Urus SE
The Urus SE has a redesigned hood that extends further forward than before, and it features new LED lights with Matrix technology that make the headlamps slimmer. The front and rear bumpers, as well as the tailgate, are also updated. Internationally, the model offers a choice of 21-, 22-, or 23-inch wheels fitted with Pirelli P Zero tires.
Inside the cabin, the dashboard features new panels and air conditioning vents. The main highlight is the upgraded central touchscreen, now measuring 12.3 inches instead of the previous 10.1 inches. This larger screen, also used in the Revuelto model, runs the latest Lamborghini software.

A Look at the Urus SE: Powertrain and Performance Details
The Lamborghini Urus SE features a hybrid power system. It combines a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with a plug-in hybrid setup. This includes a 25.9kWh lithium-ion battery pack and an electric motor integrated into the 8-speed automatic gearbox. Together, they produce a total power output of 800 horsepower and 950 Newton-meters of torque.
Lamborghini says the Urus SE can travel up to 60 kilometers on electric power alone. The SUV has all-wheel drive, accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.4 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 312 kilometers per hour.
Lamborghini Urus SE price and rivals
In 2018, the Urus was introduced in India priced at Rs 3 crore. Later, the Urus Performante and S models arrived, priced at Rs 4.22 crore and Rs 4.18 crore respectively. The Urus SE is expected to be much more expensive due to its hybrid power system. It will compete with other luxury performance SUVs such as the BMW XM, Audi RSQ8, Lotus Eletre, Porsche Cayenne GTS, and Aston DBX 707.
