The film will be released on July 25, 2025. Matt Shakman, known for WandaVision, will direct the movie. Michael Giacchino, who won an Oscar for the Up score, will compose the music.

The Fantastic Four team is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe thanks to Disney’s purchase of Fox. Pedro Pascal recently shared a photo of the new cast with the caption, “Our first mission.”
John Malkovich and Paul Walter Hauser will also be in the film. The script is written by Eric Pearson, Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan, and Ian Springer, with Peter Cameron from WandaVision also contributing.
The Fantastic Four first appeared on screen in a 1990s film produced by Roger Corman that was never released. They returned in 2005 with a movie directed by Tim Story, featuring Chris Evans, Jessica Alba, Ioan Gruffudd, and Michael Chiklis. Although it did well at the box office, the film had poor reviews, holding a 28 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
In 2015, the team was rebooted in a film by Josh Trank, starring Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, and Jamie Bell. This version was even less successful, both critically and commercially, with a dismal 9 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
