A gang of thieves has targeted luxury villas in Ibiza using an elaborate and dangerous method. The criminals have been pumping sedative gas into high-end vacation homes, incapacitating the occupants. Radio DJ Nick Grimshaw and his 81-year-old mother, Eileen, were celebrating his 40th birthday in Ibiza with family when their holiday home was targeted. A gang pumped sedative gas into the villa, waited for everyone to fall asleep, and then robbed the place. Fortunately, no one was hurt. The thieves likely didn’t know Grimshaw personally but recognized the property as belonging to affluent vacationers.
