Umar Punjabi Life Story(19yr old Millionaire)

Umar Punjabi: 22-year-old-Millionaire. Well known in Trading field and also known as the founder of Alpha Trader. Hia journey starts when he was just 15. He just wanted to earn money for his gym supplements as he was quite interested in fitness and wished to be a fitness coach. For few months he managed to arrange money from his parents by the way his mom was very supportive in all this. And then he pursued a course of nutritionist which led him to earn a satisfactory amount of money. Also his client base grew very well in online coaching.

His main motive for doing all of this was to buy gym supplements for himself. As from the beginning he didn’t wanted to trouble his family. He did very well in this journey.

One mistake he did at one point was he was not saving money and not investing it. He was just wasting his money. Which was his biggest mistake in his journey so far.

During 11th, for the first time he got to know about Money Control from one classmate whose parents were quite active in trading field. He mentioned that he was this stupid that he thought beside company name if there was red dot the company was in loss and if green dot beside the company name it was gaining profit. The gradually his interest toward increasing so he bought “Intelligent Investor”. Then he started reading but he could only finish reading one page from which he understood nothing. And also he said that, “Intelligent Investor” might be good book but not for beginner as it doesn’t includes basics.

“Rich Dad Poor Dad” was the book that get him started on his trading journey. One of the best nature of him was hunger to learn. During his College time he was asking so many questions to his professors that some of the professors got annoyed. Somehow he learned investing in stocks.

At first he always thought that he should never go to trading cause it’s much more similar with gambling. Then he bought a book by looking at its attractive cover which was a trading book and as you can imagine he understood only few of its contents. What grabbed his attention was the author’s P&L Account. After this everything he did was research, research and research.

Mentor of Umar Punjabi?

He had no mentor he learned everything by himself. He watched multiple youtube videos and read multiple numbers of books to gain knowledge. At this moment many of us might give up without mentorship if you are not hungry to learn.

He was about to start his trading journey with Rs.7000 but as his brother knew what he was doing he gave him Rs.7000 for his capital. Which may seem a less amount but it was really helpful of his brother. As this time he faced losses he suggested everyone to “Don’t Invest anyone’s Money”. He continues his trading journey despite losses.

It took almost 2 years to be a profitable trader. Then he figured out that he needed to learn Trading Psychology. In may 2020 he decided to do it full time and told his parents about it. They were also supportive because he was earning handsome money from it.
