Emergency services were alerted to the crash at approximately 6:20 a.m. local time on Thursday.
According to the Western Australia Police Force, each helicopter had only one person on board. Unfortunately, both pilots—a 29-year-old man and a 30-year-old man—died from the injuries sustained in the crash.
