In an interview with People Magazine, Kareena said, “I respect the fact that Saif was previously married and has two lovely children. I’ve been a fan of Amrita Singh. Even though I’ve never met her, I know her through her films. For me, she’ll always be important in Saif’s life because she is his first wife and the mother of his children. I’ve told Saif that I want him to always show her respect. That’s what my parents taught me.
